Pulse support
Help with steps, widgets, workouts and your devices.
For help, email help@cyfnosstudio.com. Tell us which device and Pulse version you use, what happened and what you expected. Please do not send passwords or private Health exports.
Steps and the countdown
In Today, open Step goals to set an optional daily goal. The original Steps widget shows your count. Step countdown shows the steps needed to reach your daily goal and stops at zero. Weekly goals are separate.
On iPhone or iPad, touch and hold the Home Screen, choose Edit → Add Widget, then search for Pulse. For the iPhone Lock Screen, touch and hold, choose Customise → Lock Screen and tap the widget area. Choose Steps or Step countdown. You can keep both.
On Apple Watch, install Pulse through the Watch app on your iPhone. Touch and hold a compatible watch face, choose Edit, swipe to Complications, tap a slot and choose Pulse steps or Pulse step countdown. Available slots and sizes depend on the face.
Missing or old readings
Unlock your device and open Pulse to refresh. Check Health → your profile → Apps → Pulse and allow the readings you want to share. Pulse cannot distinguish a denied read permission from a reading that does not exist.
Use Refresh on supported phone widgets to request the latest available Health total; authentication may be needed. Tap a Watch complication to open Pulse. Apple schedules background updates, so widgets do not update every second. Saved or Checked labels tell you about the last reading. Pulse clears yesterday’s displayed steps at midnight.
Following a workout
Create a workout with your exercises in order. You can mix cardio, weights and swimming, then add a repeating schedule. Open a saved or scheduled workout on your Watch to follow it. Complete logs the planned exercise and moves on; Skip today leaves it out for that session; Do later moves it back in the session so you can return when a machine is free.
Pause pauses the recording; Resume continues it. Finish & save ends the session and saves its recorded sections. Discard is a separate action. If Pulse reports a connection or saving issue, keep the devices nearby, open Pulse on both and follow the recovery or retry message. Avoid starting another recording while the current one is still saving.
Mac, iPad and sync
Mac focuses on Workouts and Progress. Use Settings → Devices to manage planning sync and nearby pairing. Planning sync uses the same Apple Account; nearby transfers require paired devices to be open and within reach. Mac does not read Apple Health directly. Its Progress screen shows the latest readings received from your phone and when they were updated.
Your free trial and purchase
Pulse has a free 14-day trial followed by an optional one-time unlock. The trial does not charge you automatically. The price shown by the App Store when you buy is the price you pay. Use Restore Purchases with the same Apple Account to restore an existing unlock or the original trial period.
The purchase controls are available from the main screen and Settings. If products cannot load, check your connection and Apple Account, then try again. Your saved work is not erased when the trial ends.
Privacy
Pulse only accesses the Health information you choose to share. Read the Pulse privacy policy for storage, sync, widgets and data choices. For privacy requests, email help@cyfnosstudio.com.
